As Costa Rica announced it will reopen its borders to tourists from September (see the latest reopening updates) we’ve been fielding endless questions from couples who’ve had to postpone their adventure honeymoon vacation due to the COVID pandemic. As luck would have it, we’re actually heading into the perfect adventure months here, at Costa Rica Rios – September is when our whitewater rafting and kayaking tours usually take off, a time when we indulge in wild river action after two months of copious rains.
In September 2020, thanks to the you-know-what-pandemic, we’re having to re-plan many of our tours and, to satisfy government regulations and keep all out precious guests and guides safe, are currently only offering private and bespoke tours for honeymooning couples and families – or groups of friends traveling within their own social bubble.
