The Buttercup Inn is a small bed and breakfast located in Costa Rica’s Sloth Sanctuary. It is named after the sanctuary’s oldest and most famous resident sloth, Buttercup. Needless to say, Buttercup Inn is a unique destination that is immensely popular with animal and nature lovers.
Accommodations at the Inn are comfortable and clean, but not especially luxurious. There are four guest rooms, all with air-conditioning and a private bathroom with shower. Two of the guest rooms sleep two, and the other two sleep four. Breakfast is included. Wi-Fi is available in public areas, but not the guest rooms. The dining room is closed in the evenings.
The primary attraction for Buttercup Inn is not the guest accommodations, however. Let’s face it: it’s really all about the sloths, and they are adorable.
