Week of Adventures January 14, 2012 

We had an awesome fun group of people last week on our Costa Rica Week of Adventures package tour and feel we made a bunch of new friends.  There was a honeymoon couple, a couple celebrating 30 years of marriage, families, singles and couples!  Everyone had a good sense of humor, an adventurous spirit and willingness to participate in everything, even if the activity seemed a little scary to begin with.  I have never heard someone scream so loudly as one lady did during the zipline, but fair play to her, she managed to overcome her fear of heights and finished the course.  The weather was superb and we were able to see sloths, monkeys (both white-faced and howlers), an eyelash snake, iguanas and a raccoon.  Also a plethora of tropical birds entertained us while we relaxed in the jungle lodge.  The Costa Rica adventure vacation package also featured some incredible whitewater rafting past primary rainforest, beautiful high waterfall, steep canyons and through some fun rapids.  After a good mountain biking session, some beginner whitewater kayaking and all the jungle activities we finished the week with some surfing lessons and beach time on the Caribbean coast.  Friday night saw everyone gathered around to watch the trip video, have a few laughs and remember the week that just few by.
