Throughout the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Ride through Tapanti National Park, where untouched mountains and enchanting views await. Pass by sugar cane plantations, small towns, and banana plantations, adding to the charm of your journey.
Finally, your adventure will lead you to the Caribbean Coast, where you’ll celebrate your achievement before heading to the vibrant city of Limon. From there, you’ll be transported to the picturesque beachside town of Puerto Viejo.
After days of thrilling biking adventures, you’ll have a well-deserved free day in Puerto Viejo. Relax at the beautiful beaches or take it easy by the pool at your hotel. It’s your time to unwind and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.
As your adventure comes to an end, you’ll take a short internal flight back to San Jose in time to connect with your international flights.

Upon your arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), you will be warmly welcomed by your Costa Rica Rios guide. It marks the exciting beginning of your adventure vacation! From the airport, you will embark on a scenic journey to the charming town of Manuel Antonio, situated on the Pacific Coast. This coastal haven will be your home for the evening, and it is here that you will meet your head guide for an informative discussion about the exhilarating week that lies ahead.

Get ready for an exciting change of pace as you switch your mode of transport from mountain bikes to rafts! Experience the thrill of conquering the initial stretch of the renowned Pacuare River, followed by a serene night’s stay at an enchanting eco-lodge nestled deep within the lush rainforest. Later in the afternoon, brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping zipline adventure, complete with an awe-inspiring Tarzan Swing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Navigate the remaining whitewater section of the Pacuare River by raft. As you venture approximately 16kms downstream, the river gradually mellows, leading you to a tranquil tented camp nestled by the riverside. Spend the evening surrounded by nature’s serenity, immersing yourself in the soothing sounds of the river as you unwind and relax in this idyllic camp setting. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Today, a change of craft as you transition to either a sit-on-top inflatable kayak or a canoe, depending on the prevailing conditions. Prepare to paddle the final leg of your journey along the magnificent Pacuare River, embracing the tranquility as you make your way towards the Caribbean Coast. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery, savor the rhythmic flow of the river, and relish the sense of accomplishment as you embark on this unforgettable paddle to your destination, the mouth of the Pacuare River as it flows into the Caribbean Sea. Congratulations! You have successfully reached the breathtaking Caribbean Coast, having cycled, rafted and canoed across the stunning landscapes of Costa Rica. Take a moment to celebrate with a refreshing beer before boarding a motor boat that will swiftly transport you towards the vibrant city of Limon. There, your private transportation will be waiting to escort you to the picturesque beachside town of Puerto Viejo. Breakfast and lunch included.
