Arrival day!
If this is your first time in Costa Ria, you’re in for a treat. You’ll feel the warmth as soon as you walk off the plane, and when our friendly driver escorts you to your first destination, you’ll begin to understand the warmth of the Costa Rican people too. Your first night will be in the Grano De Oro – “Grain of Gold” – and you’ll find this renovated traditional Costa Rican home, now luxurious hotel, a perfect introduction to the country. Ask about ‘Pura Vida’ and you’ll be welcomed like an old friend.
Day 1
Transfer day
It’s only a 40 minute flight from San Jose to Drake Bay Airport, but as soon as you arrive you’ll think it’s a million miles away. ‘Airport’ is a loose term really, for a shelter next to a clearing, where small aircraft infrequently arrive. The bustle of the Capital has well and truly been left behind and from here it’s only a short transfer to the beautiful Copa De Arbol Luxury Eco Resort. Hidden in the jungle, sitting just steps from the beach overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean, Copa De Arbol is a luxurious resort for adventurers who appreciate nature, and serenity – and your family are going to love it. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 2
Caño Island Snorkeling
With turquoise blue waters and colorful coral reefs, Caño Island is one of Costa Rica’s best snorkeling and scuba diving destinations. Depending on the time of year, keep your eyes open for Humpbacks, Orcas and Pilot whales as well as three species of dolphins as you make your way to the island. Overnight Copa De Arbol. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 3
Corcovado National Park Hike
National Geographic famously labeled it “the most biologically intense place on the planet,” and this characterization is memorialized in nearly every abbreviated web description of the park in existence. The jungle is home to a mind-numbing list of animal species and this hike is a true nature lovers dream. Overnight Copa De Arbol. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 4
Transfer day
As soon as you arrive at the Espadilla Ocean Club you’ll be glad you made the trip. Slip into your own private pool, walk out front and feel the sand beneath your feet, or go exploring in the world famous Manual Antonio National Park – just a five minute stroll away. Breakfast included.
Day 5
Canopy Zipline Tour
Today you will take on 10 ziplines, walk a suspension bridge, do two rappels and finish with a Tarzan swing! Its a great fun tour, fully guided and is complimented by a delicious local lunch and a walk through the serpentarium and butterfly gardens. Overnight Espadilla Ocean Club. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 6
Free Day
Why not enjoy your last full day in the Costa Rican sun playing on the beach. If you are still feeling energetic there are opportunities to sea kayak, take out some jet skis and much much more. You choose how busy you would like to be on the last day of your family vacation. Overnight Espadilla Ocean Club. Breakfast included.

Day 7
Time to head home
Enjoy your last morning in the hot tropical sun before taking your private shuttle collects you and has you back to San Jose in time to join your international flight home.
