Your guide will be waiting outside the arrivals terminal with a sign with your names on it. After leaving the airport, you begin the journey to the town of La Fortuna at the base of the Arenal Volcano. Resting on the hills and slopes of the valley and tucked within the lush landscape you will find your hotel, Arenal Springs. This beautiful hotel is set in lush tropical gardens with a series of hot springs and a warm swim up bar. The hotel is in a great location only a short way from the main town. You will have a volcano view from your room!
Day 1
Mountain Biking
Enjoy a leisurely ride around Lake Arenal with unobstructed views of the Arenal Volcano as you cross rivers and ride on quiet secondary roads. Your guide will point out the flora and fauna as you go as well as explain the history of the area that you are riding through. This is an enjoyable morning in the outdoors and a great way to get a feel for the surrounding area. Overnight Arenal Springs. Breakfast included.
Day 2
Adrenaline Combo
Prepare yourself for a morning of fun! You’re going to take on a high ropes course, ziplines, waterfall rappelling, Tarzan Swing, canyoning and more. This combo tour will test all your skills and dexterity in a safety conscious environment. Later, head back to your hotel for a couple of sunset cocktails whilst lounging in the hot springs. Overnight Arenal Springs. Breakfast included.
Day 3
Beach Time
It is time to head to the beach for some sun, surf and sea. You will be driven along the scenic route through the hills heading down to sea level. As you get closer to the coast, feel the temperature rise and get ready for some hot days. Your destination is Santa Teresa, one of Costa Rica’s most iconic surfing towns, where you will check into your hotel, Blue Surf Sanctuary. Relax and enjoy the rest of your evening. Breakfast included.
Day 4
Surfing
Enjoy your next three days learning to surf at the local surf school. Having the expertise of a local surf instructor will help you learn the ropes quickly and by the end of your Costa Rica vacation you will hopefully have a love of the sport as well as a very good reason to return and practice your new found skills! Overnight Blue Surf Sanctuary. Breakfast included.
Day 5, 6 & 7
Time To Head Home
Your private shuttle will collect you from your hotel and have you at the airport in time for your international flights home.
