IRU Week of Rivers January 28, 2012
Another year has past and we have successfully completed our 7th (I think) charity trip with Idaho Rivers United. We love working together with people who make a difference to our world and who do so much towards river conservation. As members of 1% for the Planet we feel it is so important to practice what we preach and contribute to environmental causes close to our hearts. The week with the IRU is always a huge amount of fun and Bill Sedivy is a great leader of the people. Its definitely a little crazy on the water with all sorts of boats out, including canoes, shredder, cataraft, inflatable kayaks, rafts and hardshell kayaks. We also had the pleasure of having our most loyal repeat customer back for his 6th year, thanks Chris! I know the guides enjoyed the variety with this group and we all made some new friends. The week passed too quickly but we did manage to squeeze in some ziplining, dance lessons (some people have the rhythm others could use a few more lessons but everyone had a good laugh) and a demonstration on how to make chocolate. We will miss you all and look forward to seeing you again next year. For some footage of the week click on the link to the video here.
