Costa Rica Adventure Tours heading into the Green Season
We had a crazy few weeks with a couple of student groups and private trips to round out our back to back high season. What a season it has been! We have all worked hard to provide the best Costa Rica adventure vacations and have received many glowing reports from our guests as proof of our commitment to quality guided tours in Costa Rica. To top it all off we said goodbye (or more like “hasta luego”) to super guide Stef who has returned to Canada for the summer, but will be back next season which kicks off again in just a few short months. We decided the best way to unwind was to throw an “Ugly Shirt” party for the guides and staff and it was a blast. Everyone headed to the “Ropa Americana” shops for their ugliest $2 shirts. When we arrived at the shop we ran into Davis leaving and he was sweating heavily after fighting his way through the piles and piles of ugly shirts deep in the bowels of the shop. Some of the staff couldn’t decide on just one shirt, so turned up with two, which worked out well as Dixon had forgotten to get one.
Now that we are down to just a couple of adventure or custom tours a month we have a little more time to catch up on gear maintenance, office work and organization and our marketing plans. Our new website is working well and we are getting started on some exciting new plans for the coming months. New for the 2012/2013 season will be a beginner kayaking week – all you Week of Adventure people who loved the duckies can now come back and get a full week of lessons from qualified kayak instructors, class IV+ kayaking Week of Rivers for you expert paddlers and more!!!
