Chirripó National Park Permits
Nestled along the heart of the Talamanca Mountain Range in the south central portion of Costa Rica, Chirripo National Park (Parque Nacional Chirripo) consists of 123,923 acres (50,150 ha) and provides one of the best opportunities to test your hiking abilities. Trails throughout the park take you as high as you want to go, ultimately reaching the highest peak in the country and second highest in Central America. The ascent to Cerro Chirripo at 12,532 ft (3,820 m) is definitely a test of endurance and a favorite among avid nature enthusiasts.
Chirripó is the 38th most prominent peak in the world. In terms of Holdridge life zones, the park can be categorized into five ecosystems<a/a>: lowland tropical wet forest, premontane tropical wet forest, lower montane wet forest, montane wet forest and subalpine wet forest (páramo<a/a>). Most of the park consists of both primary rain forests and primary cloud forests. Around 9,000 ft (2,740 m) it changes to wet desert.

The cost of the park is $18 per person per day and the lodge costs $38 per person per night and we charge a fee of $15 per person, so the total cost will be $89 per person.
