Day 1
Canyoning Adventure
Talk about getting the most out of your time in Costa Rica. Nothing like a shot of adrenaline as you wake up – more effective than coffee! Today is your canyoning adventure, rappelling down a series of waterfalls, climaxing with a 200ft assisted rappel. Enjoy a typical local “casado” lunch before returning to your hotel or into town for the afternoon. Overnight Los Lagos. Breakfast and lunch included.
Day 2
ATV Tour
You will love this adventurous 4×4 ride along the base of the impressive Arenal Volcano as you feel the power of your high-performance quad take you through the rugged path of a private farm located next to the Arenal Volcano National Park. Take an adrenaline-filled ride through the tropical rainforest for an experience you will never forget! You will be crossing rivers, getting plenty muddy, while you ride through the jungle for two-action-packed hours of fun and adventure! Overnight Los Lagos. Breakfast included.
Day 3
Transfer to Monteverde & Wildlife Night Hike
Today you will enjoy a fun transfer by van-boat-van from La Fortuna to Monteverde, home of the famous cloud forests. Its a fun way to change locations and nice to travel over the lake. Arrive at El Establo, a hillside hotel with cloud forest views and rich birdlife. Surrounded by nature you will be inspired to explore the area, jump on a canopy tour or make use of the tennis courts and heated pool. As night falls, you’ll be led through a wildlife refuge to see some of the many nocturnal creatures who call this habitat home. Breakfast included.
Day 4
Cloud Forest Hike
An estimated 1% of all global woodlands are considered cloud forest. This fully guided, fascinating and informative hike will take you deep into the high altitude jungle where you will learn about the importance of the various plants and animals to the region. Day 5
Transfer To Manuel Antonio
It’s time to head to the beach for some sun, sea and sand! You will be driven along the scenic route, through the mountains before heading down to sea level. Feel the temperature rise and get ready for some action packed days on the coast. Along the way, why not stop on the bridge over the Tarcoles River to view one of the largest crocodile populations in the world with around 25 American Crocodiles living per square kilometer! Upon arrival in Manuel Antonio, check into your hotel, Si Como No. Breakfast included.
Day 6
Surf Lessons
In the morning you will hit the beach for a one on one surf lesson with a private instructor at the Surf School. Costa Rica is known worldwide for its beautiful beaches perfect for surfing and it is a fun sport to learn. Lessons with a local surf school will make sure that you learn the basics of surfing in a smooth and safe way. The surf lessons are given according to the tides and in an introductory surf lesson you will learn the basics of surfing such as standing, paddling, turning and tides as well as ocean awareness and surf ethics. Day 7
Manuel Antonio National Park Guided Hike
This morning you will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park. It is the best place for wildlife viewing and you are almost guaranteed to see sloths, iguanas and several species of monkeys, as well as other exotic creatures. Your naturalist guide will pick you up from your hotel and lead you along the well-kept trails to hidden beaches all the while pointing out interesting things along the way. Enjoy a dip in the sea and sink your toes in to the soft sand of the beautiful Pacific beaches before returning to your hotel later in the afternoon. Overnight Si Como No. Breakfast included.
Day 8
Free Day Manuel Antonio
With views over the Pacific Ocean and monkeys in the garden, you can’t beat Si Como No for a family beach hotel. Time To Head Home
