Rafiki Safari Lodge is truly a one-of-a-kind hotel that describes itself as a luxury tent camp in the jungle. Utterly unique, it is situated on 842 acres deep within the jungle along the Savegre River. The ultimate destination for tropical adventure glamping, Rafiki is the place to go for a memorable jungle retreat without roughing it.
The ten luxury tents at Rafiki are set on top of decks that are spread out on a plateau overlooking the Savegre Valley. Non-air-conditioned yet comfortable, each tent features a modern bathroom, solar hot water, electricity and a private porch from which guests can spot toucans, monkeys, and sloths. The tents are imported from South Africa and designed to allow guests to have an up-close and personal experience with nature, without getting touched by the rain or eaten up by insects. All tents can comfortably sleep a family of four.
The main lodge at Rafiki is on the plateau near the guest tents. It has a bar and grill, a waterslide and a solar-heated Jacuzzi. Guests enjoy sipping cocktails on the porch at the lodge after dinner and watching the tropical sunset.
