Costa Verde is an eclectic, fun and quirky 70-room resort near Manuel Antonio and only steps away from the Pacific Ocean. Anything but boring, Costa Verde caters to couples and families who are seeking a carefree and lively tropical adventure.
The hotel is built into a hillside and boasts it has “more monkeys than people.” Guests can attest to this, with many reporting they were able to see monkeys, sloths, toucans and other wildlife species, all the time.
Accommodations are spacious and include studio apartments, penthouse apartments, houses, and bungalows, as well as a Boeing 727 fuselage that has been refurbished and converted into a luxury two bedroom suite. All accommodations are outfitted with air-conditioning, balconies, Wi-Fi, and kitchenettes with refrigerators, coffee makers, and microwaves. Most have ocean or jungle views. Some studios are in an adults-only area of the resort; children age 17 and under are welcome in the family studios.
Costa Verde’s on-site restaurant and bar, El Avion, is located in a converted Fairchild C-123 US war plane. Costa Verde also offers three cliff side pools, tours and yoga classes.
